After great success at World Equestrian Games in Kentucky last year, winning a team silver medal for Canada, Hawley Bennett and her new horse, Five O'Clock Somewhere, have been selected to represent Canada at the PanAm Games in Guadalajara, Mexico in October.

Bennett got the ride on 'Chunky' last fall and has campaigned him successsfully, Intermediate, ** Star, and he is ready for this opportunity.

Bennett is still riding/competing Gin'N Juice, going to Burghley **** in England in early September, to prepare her for selection to Canada's Olympic team next spring.

Bennett is riding both horses at the major event at Rebecca Farms in Kalispell, Montana this coming

week, plus others, and also coaching her students there.

She works very hard six days a week, year in, year out, and really appreciates the support of her home community. There will be a major Olympic fundraiser for Bennett and Gin' N Juice in Langley in November; details to follow as they are arranged.
