Guy Lafleur, Montreal Canadiens legend and five time Stanley Cup winner, will be featured in the first Legends of Hockey night of the Abbotsford Heat 2013-14 season.
Lafleur will be at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) on Friday, Oct. 11 for the Heat home opener against the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators). Tickets start at $14.50 and are available by calling 1-877-452-HEAT (4328).
Guy Lafleur is a five time Stanley Cup winner and the all-time leading scorer in Montreal Canadiens history with 1,246 points. He was the first player in NHL history to score at least 50 goals and 100 points in six consecutive seasons. Lafleur won three Art Ross Trophies (league leader in points), two Hart Memorial trophies (League MVP), three Lester B. Pearson awards (MVP voted among his peers), and one Conn Smythe Trophy (Playoff MVP). Lafleur was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988 and the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
Lafleur will be signing autographs for a Heat fans starting at 6 p.m. on the concourse of the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) on a first come, first served basis. Also, 50 lucky fans will also be chosen to meet Guy.
