In a first-place showdown with the Langley Knights, Cameron Davitt scored three times as the Kodiaks beat the Knights 7-4.

The Kodiaks led 1-0 after one period and 3-2 after 40 minutes.

The visitors scored twice with the man advantage in the third period to break open the game.

Donovan Shambeau had a pair for the home side while Jackson Surbey and Carson Rose scored once apiece.

Nickolas Trenciansky made 46 saves in the loss as the Knights were outshot 52-31. Ben Giesbrecht stopped 27 shots for the victory.

Langley's final game before the holiday break is Dec. 21 when they visit the Grandview Steelers at the Burnaby Winter Club.

The Kodiaks visit the Delta Ice Hawks at the Ladner Leisure Centre on Dec. 23.
