Soccer seniors host ‘spring fling’

Aldergrove hosts the Barry Bauder Memorial Men’s and Spring Fling Women’s Soccer Tournament this weekend, March 27 to March 29 at Aldergrove Athletic Park, 26715 – 27 Avenue.

There are four men’s divisions: Over 60’s, Over 50’s, Over 40’s, Open Mens 7 v 7, and three women’s divisions: Classics, Open Recreational and Open Competitive.

Competing in the men’s Over 60’s are CCSS, First Capital FC, Ben United SC, The Witch, and Aldergrove United.

The men’s Over 50’s Group 1 are Aldergrove United, Serbia FC, Chilliwack FC, and Group 2 are BC Transit, Blue Chips and Woodys FC.

The men’s Over 40’s teams are AAP Central, Maple Ridge, Coq City FC, Aldergrove United and TCCS.

Mens Open 7 A Side include Group 1, Aldergrove United, Lightning FC, Old Settlers FC, and Group 2 are Lightning FC 2, Team Gav and Highlanders.

Womens Classics teams include Aftershock, Benders, Coastal Surf and Poco Cougars.

Womens Open Rec teams include Abby Steelers, Aldergrove FX, Aldergrove United and Miller Ladies.

Games start times on Saturday are 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. 2:30 p.m., and 4 p.m.
