TWU trio to represent Canada

Three members of Trinity Western track and field team chosen to compete at Pan American junior championships

Three members of the Trinity Western Spartans track and field team will wear the Maple Leaf for Canada.

Pole vaulter Madison Evans, steeplechaser Caleb DeJong and long distance runner Mirelle Martens have been chosen to compete for Canada at the Pan American junior championships.

Also representing Canada will be a pair of Langley Mustangs Track and Field club members.

Teagan Rasche and Brent Reston will compete in the javelin competition,

The meet runs July 31 to Aug. 2 at Edmonton’s Foote Field.
