Western Canadian gymnasts are gathering in Langley for the artistic gymnastics championships Thursday through Saturday.
The 2024 Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastic Championships is at the Langley Events Centre.
“On behalf of the entire organizing committee at GymBC and the Langley Gymnastics Foundation, it is with great excitement that we extend our warmest greetings to all athletes participating in this year’s Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championship,” said Jen Coimbra, event organizer and Langley Gymnastics Foundation executive director.
The Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships are held annually in one of the western provinces or territories (Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon). The hosting of Westerns is shared equally among B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba on a rotation basis. The previous 2023 event was successfully hosted by Alberta Gymnastics Federation.
The public is invited to attend to see the various events that make up artistic gymastics.
Tickets can be purchased at the door by card or cash. Prices vary from $15 for day passes to $36 for a three-day pass. Family passes are also available.
